Choosing the Correct Colors For Your Bathroom

Choosing the Correct Colors For Your Bathroom

Are you redecorating your bathroom? Can't decide what colour to do it? Well here are a few tips?

If you have a traditional style bathroom with brass taps and wooden finishes, floral patterns go perfectly. You can either go for bold or soft colours depending on the size of your bathroom. If you have a small bathroom, soft colours are most suitable as bold colours may make the room seem a lot smaller. I would personally go for peach or creams.

If you have a modern bathroom with chrome finishes and very minimalistic bright or sharp colours suit best. If you choose white then this will go with the minimalistic feel but if you would prefer some colour then silver or pink would go really good. If you choose to paint white why don't you bring the colour in by purchasing brightly coloured towel and accessories.

If you have choose to go with a theme for your bathroom then stick to the colours most suited with that theme e.g.

if you go for a seaside theme, you will be best to use blues and oranges.

One of the most important things to remember is the size of the bathroom. If your bathroom is on the smaller side then you need softer colour so not to close the walls in. Soft colours will also make the room seem lighter. If your bathroom is large you can more of a choice as rich and deep colours can be used to create an impact.
